Antique Indian Victorian Cast Iron And Teak Wood Park Or Garden Bench

This wonderfully original early 20th century (well over 100 years old) Indian cast iron and teak wood slatted park bench was made to last. We were lucky enough to find THREE matching ones in Southern India. It is heavweight and in beautiful condition, ready to grace any garden or municipal area. Benches from India are found in an extraordinary variety of styles, sizes, colours and shapes reflecting the many cultures that influenced India, and are generally made from iron or teak. This Bench is the perfect feature for a UK garden patio or terrace and is designed for comfort. Our Bench was made in Rajasthan during the early Edwardian era. It is a good sized utility piece that can be usefully placed anywhere. This is also a unique one of piece which was made by hand many years ago and has a lovely patina which really shows its age and history. There are some historic minor repairs and age related marks and wear and tear as you would expect. Please be sure to check all photos as these form part of the description.
